Cervical Cancer Vaccine
Gardasil®, the vaccine that prevents the types of genital human papillomavirus (HPV) that cause most cases of cervical cancer and genital warts is available at our practice for established patients.
The CDC recommends the vaccine for girls and women age 13 through 26 who have not already been vaccinated (it is recommended for girls age 11 and 12 as part of their routine vaccination schedule).
If you are interested in receiving the vaccine, please contact our office at (413) 794-8484 to set up a counseling appointment. Once you have completed the counseling appointment, the vaccine is administered in a series of three injections given over a six month period. Insurance coverage varies for the Gardasil® vaccine - we encourage you to verify coverage with your insurance company.
